George even hunts Hummingbirds? Wow, that IS manly. I would love to see how George would treat Mr. Horse. Those two seem like natural enemies, but maybe if they were neighbors they would try to get along. Would George have any trouble eating a dead horse?
I'm having dental surgery tomorrow and it's gonna prevent me from working for a few days, but it won't prevent me from sitting at home, eating baby food and drawing pictures of George Liquor and storyboards ceaselessly.... I WANT IN THE SECRET BLOG DAMMIT!
Yep, that's about as good as construction-less construction gets. Clearly the work of someone who has been drawing for decades and has instincts that can, in a pinch, trump the very methods upon which they were built. All hail John!
I don't wanna sound rude to some of you guys but take it easy. If John likes your art then you see the secret blogs, simple as that. Either way, everyone gets to see the finished cartoons eventually :)
Thank you: perusing some of your uncolored comic pages of past posts has been good for my own endeavour. The range of line and the termination of contours into completed, that is to say, interconnected, or anchored features, (with but a few open or hanging strokes to give a little air) has had me mindful (e.g. the barber character, and a panel with G. Liquer a couple posts below)...
Are the blessed in your secret blog all sycophants too?
I'm starting my senior year for my illustration bfa, and while I haven't done paid work for an animation before, I've been working as an illustrator for a while. Also, I have been in 132 human holes in my lifetime (, give or take a couple).
I hope I'm not jumping on the bandwagon too late, but I just heard about this George Liquor stuff! I pumped a couple drawings out tonight and would be so humbled if you excused my tardiness. I'm doing my best to catch up!

Nice drawings Johnny! heheh, that's my kinda food! :P
How does one get the privilege of being able to see the secret blog?
by drawing really well and being able to do my characters or background style
Hey John,
If you haven't seen it yet, here's my latest attempts at drawing George, but I'm not done with the storyboards yet.

Hey John, I may have discovered this site a little late, but I just sketched up a short George Liquor cartoon..:
