This lizard king by Brian Romero looks familiar. It's like Ren Hoek in green. And the typography style looks like yours too. Did you have any hands on that?
Corny? He draws a lot better than me. I actually worked with him for a short period eons ago. A real nice guy.
He told me funny stories about WB and thought I was weird for wanting to know about such a crass commercial place!
I might have done some assisting on a couple scenes he animated on a commercial, but he used to sit on the floor next to my desk with his animation disk in his lap and a ream of paper stuck on his pegs, animating away in ball point pen.
The drawing now looks more to me like a combination of you, late Chuck Jones and Corny Cole... the way their two styles mixed in weird ways in the Phantom Tollbooth! Maybe a little Ronald Searle, too. It's a beauty!
Do you, can you, will you create a store maybe on ebay or paypal where we can buy your art? You have to have scraps of drawings that you'd regularly throw out, why not turn it into cash. =)
